You'd find it boring, I'd bet.

I love it... but I really can't see it being your kind of movie.

edit: to elaborate on what return said above, it's definitely not constant rock 'em, sock 'em car chase action. if that's what you're wanting you might be disappointed, but it's still a fun film.

Onibaba (1964)

Christ, this is fantastic filmmaking. If not already seen, I highly recommend this to Rod, V, fortunato, neverending, Return, and anybody else in the mood for simplisitic folk storytelling with some genuinely frightening, stark imagery and a blisteringly chilling climax.

oh my, i love this one. there's a great criterion release that's worth every penny.

I'm sitting here and realizing that the film absolutely haunted the hell out of me! It's really lingering.

I've got to add the Criterion release to my to-buy list.

Fantastic is right. A very chilling storyline dotted with jealousy and fear, genuinely frightful and dense moments involving *POSSIBLE SPOILER* the mother and her mask, and a killer climactic ending.

Absolutely fabulous movie. One of the early horror movies which covers all seven golden sins.
