I'll hopefully start the process again soon.

That sounds terrible. I hate getting the occasional muscle cramp. Maybe try to get a home doctor visit for the shot.

I like this, so far the stories have been semi disturbing.

Alrighty, I'll give it a go.

cheebacheeba 10-04-2020 11:19 PM

Saw the South Park thingy.
More of the handmaid's tale, season 2 done.
Little bit of the latest walking dead spin-off, maybe I said that already. Seems..."ok".
Wentworth season finale (not quite the show it used to be, but still good)

What's the deal with all the recent utopia watching? Didn't it come out like years ago?

hammerfan 10-05-2020 04:12 AM

First episode of Monsterland
Third episode of Utopia
Season 10 finale of The Walking Dead

Angra 10-05-2020 10:50 AM

Monsterland First 4 episodes. 4/10

I'm gonna watch the fifth episode only because it's the episode with the highest rating, but then I'm most definitely done with this show.
The stories are semi interesting (except for episode 4 which were crazy boring), but the endings are just too god damn vague and anticlimactic, which makes for a very unsatisfying watch considering it's a horror anthology.

Angra 10-10-2020 03:38 AM

"The Boys" Season 2 6-7/10

Should have ended much stronger. It really leaves the impression that the writers don't have a clue where to go with this show, which is a damn shame.

The Haunting of Bly Manor, 2020. First 4 episodes.

So far...boring.

Swamp Thing -

Just the 1st episode. A pretty good pilot episode. I'm going to get the blu-ray because on CW, the swear words are not only cut but they blur the mouth of the actors. So who knows what else they are editing.

Only saw ep 1 so far; didn't really grab me, that's for sure. Really liked the first season.

Checking out finale now.

Anybody see The Walking Dead: World Beyond, what'd ya think?

ImmortalSlasher 10-11-2020 07:44 PM

I stopped watching Walking Dead years ago. I tried again with that other series with the California family. But stopped that too after like one season. Night of the Living Dead (original and remake) are my favorite zombie movies. You really can't do better than those.

I didn't hate it, but, I probably won't continue watching it. I was kinda bored.

Watched the season 6 premiere of Fear the Walking Dead. I'm left with soooo many questions!

Oh, I just noticed the show is based on Henry James' "The Turn of the Screw". Now I GOTTA watch it!

Angra 10-12-2020 11:31 AM

The Haunting of Bly Manor episode 5 & 1

Oh dear...

So I accidentally watched episode 5 first, believing it was episode 1. If that had been the case this show had been an epic fail on all levels. Then I watched the actual episode one and it all became very familiar. Still wasn’t very good though and my god was it indeed very, very dull. I’m not shure I have the patience to sit through the entire “season”.

Yeah, I slogged through all of it over the last few days. I really enjoyed the first season, but would not recommend this new one. It was a total mess and managed to stay pretty boring throughout.

Haha oh no! Still fortunate though, as I'd say you saved yourself about six hours you could spend doing something more entertaining, like the dishes, or laundry.

Deadtime Stories episode 1 0/10

Was the editor on crack when he put this episode together? It was like watching 22 minutes of a trailer for a bad horror movie. Is that really what it takes to hold the kids attention these days??

Awful, awful, awful..

cheebacheeba 10-21-2020 12:49 PM

Raised by Wolves.
I like it, but seriously I've been falling asleep through every damn episode.

Finished DARK SHADOWS last night...after four years!

My wife asked Me what I was going to watch before work and when I said I might start the series over again, Her reaction was priceless::big grin::.(Don't think she can do the whole series again.

Have a feeling DEXTER may be next up....

Never seen Dexter, but I've been wanting to get into that for years now.
