okay then lets go. That's exactly what I suggested! Lets do them right now. Go on tic. Start them before any deliberation has taken place. It's much better than my initial idea of having one last award on the same night as the others, just a little later. How could I have missed that idea?

There's a couple of problems with your suggestion:

1.The final award - I already have someone in mind for that and it wasn't you.

2.How long would "later" be, I know the real oscars goes on all night , but this is a virtual awards ceremony and shouldn't take that long - if it starts at 11:00, it should be finished by 12 or 01:00 at the latest. This will also mean that every presenter needs to be ready for that space of time. Bearing that in mind, please remember that the Saturday before Halloween is, I'm assuming quite a busy period, *with parties, last minute shopping/preparations for Halloween night. Not everybody will be able or even want to wait that long.
Some may not be available to attend in the first place.

* Im refering to our American friends here - time difference

3. If you look at the list of judges, I did say that the names could change, re: presenters. You will also read, that I did say not all members of the Judging party wish to present. Until the actual voting takes place AND the list of presenters is finalised, things will remain the same as they are.

4. I appreciate your enthusiasm, about taking part, but a line has to be drawn somewhere, ie. The awards will be on Saturday, the 27th. Not sooner nor later. If you wish to run this event by all means do so, saves me the bother.

RE Number 2 & 3
It would be helpful if the members who wish to present an award/or are available to do so, could let me and the other members of the presentation party know please - in this thread if you wish. So we'll all know what the score is. thnx
