Kolchak
|
Kolchak is one of my favorites, one of the local TV stations ran it at midnight on Friday nights for years.
Just finished season one of 12 Monkeys, rewatched the movie, still don't care for the movie, going to watch season two shortly. Watched episode one of The Kettering Incident. It's odd, but good enough to try a few more. Recommended for fans of the first few seasons of The X-Files. Added the SeeSo channel, watched the first episode of SNL, first few episodes of Monty Python, and the first few episodes of The Young Ones. Amazon Prime has Charlie Jade, I may have to rewatch that this winter. Good show, recommended for fans of Fringe, since so much of Fringe is borrowed from Charlie Jade. ::big grin:: |
Are you afraid of the dark.

Twilight Zone
Dead Like Me Mystery Science Theater 3,000 (I found a channel that runs it) Poltergeist: The Legacy |
Finished Marcella from netflix. It was alright. Basically a whodunnit series. A 2nd season has been confirmed. Marcella has fugues when stressed. She does things she can't remember. She's also investigating serial killings.
Its an ok series even though I figured out who the killer was half way in. 5/10 |

Haven't seen Hill Street Blues in years. Never liked Hunter. It might be time to binge watch Sledge Hammer again, though. Currently working our way through Futurama.

The Outer Limits (The Original Series)
|
Scream Queens -
For some reason, I thought the show was going to be like American Horror Story with a different setting and different characters but with the same actors. But season 2 is just a different setting. It wasn't as good an episode as the first season 1 opening episode. But it's funny seeing some of those crazy characters back again. Is anyone still watching Supernatural? I heard it got better again. But I don't know if that's just compared to the bad 3 or who knows how many bad seasons they made after Sam went to Hell. |

Just watched an episode of The Outer Limits from 1964 on Comet TV written by Jerry Sohl and starring Adam West. Good way to unwind with a cup of coffee.

Just finished season 2 of 12 Monkeys. I liked season 1 better. Questions are answered, but the answers don't actually make any sense.
Binge watching our way through Futurama. The later seasons are pretty tough going. Looking forward to watching The Kettering Incident this weekend. I've seen the first 10 seasons of Supernatural. I'll watch season 11 when it hits Netflix, and then season 2 of iZombie. |
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
NCIS New Orleans This Is Us Ghost Hunters |
First episode of Atlanta.
Its decent. I like the subtle way the humor is presented, but its not subtle at the same time. Well written/acted. Only complaint is the loser mentality of the main character. Seen it a lot and its tired. BUT even so I enjoyed the first episode. |
American Horror Story
Designated Survivor |
I recently watched the first season of Masters of Horror, gotta admit that it has its ups and downs, Cigarrete Burns was just a beautiful piece of art, so was Imprint. Chocolate however was dreadfully boring.

Wolf Creek (TV Mini-Series) (2016) I.M.D.B. Eve, a 19-year-old American tourist is targeted by crazed serial killer Mick Taylor. She survives his attack and embarks on a mission of revenge. I enjoyed the Wolf Creek movies, but not as much as I enjoyed these six episodes. The show focuses on following the progression of protagonist Eve as she learns the skills and finds the bravery needed to hunt down serial killer Mick Taylor. John Jarratt as Mick Taylor was good as always, but it was Lucy Fry who really shines, and whose performance holds the whole thing together. While I found the final episode disappointing, I thoroughly enjoyed the previous five, and can highly recommend this show. 8.5/10 |
Notorious
How to Get Away With Murder |
Trying to get through the second episode of Atlanta. Its a very good show, but its depressing. There is humor, but its not the laugh out loud kind.

Falling Water -
I saw a trailer for this show and watched the early release 1st episode. We had a dream topic here somewhere and this sort of thing interests me. It's probably a bit late after a great movie like Inception but still the themes are a good one. The first episode was pretty good overall. But there was only a hint of the demon like creatures that were shown in the trailer. I can't wait till the show really gets started in a few weeks. Van Helsing - This is another male swap out show like with Wynonna Earp. I watched the first two episodes and unlike with Wynonna Earp this just isn't as cool as that show. The modern setting probably works against it as when I think Van Helsing I think classic horror settings. Wynonna Earp is modern but still set in a town that has that Old West feel. Maybe I'm comparing the two too much. But it just seems like the people in charge took another old property, popular creatures (vampires), change hero to a girl, and said let's make the show. Without thinking if it would be good or not. Because this seems very dull and generic from what I saw. Quote:
