Bushinsaba. I wasn't expecting much, but it was on Fear.net so I decided to watch it. Surprisingly good flick for fans of wet-long-haired-girl horror.

Spooky Encounters

Great film that was full of fun from the beginning until the great ending. If you haven't seen this one, rent/buy/download it as soon as you can.

"The host" 7/10

It was alright. Great looking monster.

"One missed call - Final" 5-6/10

By far the worst in the series imo.

Guinea Pig 1 - The devil's experiment. Took me two attempts to watch it - ugh!

But it's another notch in my horror bow.

Despare 02-09-2007 04:48 PM

Blind Beast, I thought it was pretty good on the whole, don't apply if you're easily offended.

Alex and I just watched Infection...It was really good, we enjoyed it a lot...It was a little confusing at the very end, but still...A great movie

We Watched Rasen before that...It was okay...A little too drawn out it seemed, but still okay

slayer666 02-17-2007 07:38 AM

Wishing Stairs. I didn't really care for it. Not that it was bad - it just didn't do much for me.

roshiq 02-18-2007 12:05 AM

That was actually my biggest problem with it yes.

For a zombie movie there was an awful few zombie scenes in it. That was very disappointing. Especially because those zombie scenes there WAS, worked so very well and had a lot of nicely gory details.

Dark Water...The original...I'll never understand why the mother chose to leave her own daughter...

Try living in Japan for 20 years. THEN you'll understand. ;)

No seriously. There MUST be something different with the parenting culture in asia, coz "Dark water" is not the only movie where especially the moms actions/reactions baffels you. "Acacia" comes to mind.

slayer666 02-19-2007 06:34 AM

The Apartment. Really liked it. One of the freakier ones I've seen in awhile.

Angra 02-19-2007 01:12 PM

"Wicked city" 5/10

This animated movie contains as much porn as horror.

Dave, you pigboy.

Not horror, but I recently saw Fearless and loved it. So sad that this was Jet Li's final martial arts film. I'm going to have to buy this one along with Fist of Legend.

Despare 02-22-2007 02:00 PM

Blind Beast Vs. Killer Dwarf

After I saw and enjoyed Blind Beast I thought this one would be great... I was VERY wrong. This is possibly one of the worst movies I've ever had the misfortune of seeing in my entire life. See Blind Beast, but when you stumble upon "Blind Beast Vs. Killer Dwarf" and think you HAVE to rent it because the title is amazing STOP. DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE.

Cut really made that one for me. While Dumplings was some sick fun and Miike's oddly gore free contribution left me underwhelmed, Cut really drew me in and made me happy I bought this one.

Ash's_evil_hand 02-26-2007 12:51 PM

Imprint. Eek! And eek again, and again, and again!

It's great when you finally find a film that you have to watch from behind your hands
