See bwind has got the idea. and i never said that rape or animal mutilation is a laughing matter. Also i heard that the original filmmakers got sued for this film, due to the courts thinking it was a snuff film...is this true?

by the way... i just want to set it straight that i appreciate this as a horror film... but some of the content i do find brutal to think about...

there have been quite a few horror films that deal with rape
ones to cross my mind...

oh.. and when i posted about people killing animals to eat them all the time... i forgot to say that i don't really agree with that either.. unfortunately i am kinda hooked on eating meat... but when i actually think about it, it does get t ome....

the trick to this film is just to watch it from a film/layout view... if you think about it... it is pretty bad

there were charges, though not about snuff (think it was obscenity) and the film was withdrawn from cinemas in italy (though ferox was released without a fuss). it also meant that deodato's next film didn't get released for a couple of years.

I know its wrong to kill animals for cinema, but we kill animals all the time if you think about it... cows going to slaughter houses, kids smashing bugs and salamanders, punk ass fuckin kids tryin to shoot dogs, people trying to poison cats.

Yes i have heard that the Blair Witch Project DID steal the idea from this movie. The whole idea about making it a documentary, and having the film makers dissapear in the woods, and try playing it off as a true story......
