There were instances in The Devil's Rejects that I thought were inspired, but never really pulled it out of the realm of "meh." I don't hate Zombie, but all I see are occasional sparks of good, sometimes great, film making in stagnant pools of mediocrity.

Definately House of 1000 corpses, although it was an accident. Thats what made it so good. If it had not sat around for so long and had all the little quirky things added to it after the fact it would have been more like devils rejects which wasnt nearly as good. dont get me wrong, I do appreciate all of his films but im still waiting for another as creative as the 1000 corpses.

Only seen House,Rejects and Halloween by Zombie and would burn all three.
What a turd of a director he is. |
House Of 1000 Corpses and The Devils Rejects are going to be classics!! They are both really well done and different from the pieces of sh*t horror films that are made now.
I haven't seen his Halloween movies yet though. |
Rob Zombie
Well, I have been a fan of Rob Zombie, ever since his days in the band of White Zombie. Have all the tapes of White Zombie and the cd's as well. Then once they became known as just Rob Zombie, I kept up with them, from then on. I have all the Rob Zombie tapes and cd's as well. I also have all the Rob Zombie movies as well. I have then on V.H.S and D.V.D However it would be hard for me to pick my favorite one, as i thought they were all quite good. But I suppose i would have to go with House of a thousand corpses. Dr. Wolfenstein wasn't bad either.

I enjoyed the Halloween remakes, laugh if you will, but they weren't so bad. The 2nd remake's plot was screwy and kinda bad, but I loved the brutality of it all. :\ The Devil's Rejects was great too.

The Cable Guy is the best...!!! :):)

loved house of 1000 corpses <333
i <3 Captain Spaulding and Baby |
I really love Rob zombie and don't get the violent hatred towards him. I think he's a talented director who's doing some unique things to the horror genre. Haaaanyways, my favorites are House of 1000 Corpses and Halloween II (I know!)
The Devil's Rejects isn't far behind. |
i love rejects and corpses, detested his first remake of halloween, LOVED, LOVED, LOVED halloween 2. it's interesting to me the amount of vitriol that this movie generates among people, but i found it to be a savage, intelligent, elegant, wonderful horror movie. there are many shades of shelley's frankenstein in it, and annie's death scene was beautifully done. i also thought it was shot gorgeously. wayne toth's make-up is shamefully overlooked. lookin forward to salem.

To me Devil's Rejects is as close as he got to making a classic film. Though House of a 1000 corpses is still worth a look.
|
I'd probably say Devil's Rejects. It was just great. But i also liked House of a 1000 Corpses and i appreciated what he tried to do with the Halloween remake. I did however hate H2, that was a terrible movie.

I really liked the devils rejects nd the first half of the halloween reject
|
I would say Devil's Rejects or House of 1000 Corpses but it looks like many of you have forgot IT? I really enjoyed it and I can watch it over and over.
