hello! i am not saying halloween movies are bad! it's only my most favorite movie on the planet. my point is that they're taking a classic and draggind it through the mud!

i love halloween so it stands to reason that i would also love a good sequel but that's the thing.. i want a good one. just b/c it can't live up to the first doesn't mean it's gotta be crap. do you see what i am saying. it's an issue of quality. hollywood's big fucking brilliant idea is to just make money when we the fans are asking for more than just a bunch of talentless big names and flashy plot twists to sell a story that already works!

halloween 1 is better than h2o-it's just a fact. one helped define a genre, the other just made money on it's good name. it was recycled material AND it wasn't that great either. they pretended as if all the other halloweens had never taken place-the fact that laurie had a daughter NOT a son and she died. it just got really cheesy.

as for FVJ it's the same type of thing. they gave the kiddies something to get excited over. but IMO it was lame. it could've been better. as i said, it's a matter of quality!

I hope they do not continue with these Horror Icon VS. Horror Icon movies. Freddy VS. Jason was a real disappointment, even though they had a BIG ass budget. I can only anticipate the same for any other "horror battle" movie.

i feel the exact same way which is why i came back to this old thread and apologized for the comment that you have quoted when i said that i was a long time horror fan but just did'nt really know to much about it i just watched horror movies now i know what makes a horror movie good, what makes a horror movie great and what makes a horror movie horrible, i basically just understand more about the genre then i did then.

first off i never said anything bad about freddy or jason but freddy vs jason just was'nt that great of a movie and all the halloween movies are'nt great either. one and two are great, three even though it did'nt have anything to do with michael was still an ok movie, four and five were very good but not great, the curse of michael myers was very good, h20 was'nt that good at all but watchable and that crap that came after it was just GOD awful. that's my opinions on the halloween films a lot of other people might not say the exact things that i said about them but alot of people will agree with what i'm saying just go to some other horror sites that have forums and find out for yourself.

and i don't know where you coming from with all that black belt and shot put stuff and you grew up in the ''hood'' as you like to call it but we're on the internet and this is a horror forum so why don't you calm down and stop telling people how many ways you THINK you can kick thier ass and just talk about horror movies.
