_____V_____ 03-12-2008 07:25 PM

...yet the answer remains elusive.;)

fortunato 03-12-2008 07:25 PM

oh! duh!

neverending 03-12-2008 07:26 PM

From Russia With Love

_____V_____ 03-12-2008 07:26 PM

Ding ding ding!!!!

And in the nick of time...Fortunato gets the answer!!

Despare 03-12-2008 07:27 PM

Nice job Fortunato!

fortunato 03-12-2008 07:27 PM

man, now that song'll be stuck in my head.

_____V_____ 03-12-2008 07:27 PM

It is indeed the theme from Live and Let Die.

Paul McCartney and the Wings performed the theme song (1973).

It was the first James Bond theme to appear on the Billboard Top Ten, where it peaked at #2.

Next question comes courtesy of the evil puppy...

Despare 03-12-2008 07:29 PM

Here's another visual question for you...

Q: Following is a picture of a popular actor in six different roles. Name each movie that's pictured. The person with the most correct movies listed at the end of our time limit gets the point... unless that is somebody actually gets them all within the time limit!

http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o.../seans/dhm.jpg

neverending 03-12-2008 07:32 PM

Tootsie
Midnight Cowboy
Kramer vs. Kramer
Straw Dogs
The Graduate

fortunato 03-12-2008 07:32 PM

1- straw sogs
2- tootsie
3-kramer vs. kramer
6- midnight cowboy?

fortunato 03-12-2008 07:34 PM

4- family business?

Despare 03-12-2008 07:34 PM

Neverending got one wrong, as did fortunato now... anybody come up with one of the others to break this tie? Two movies remain... one and a half minutes!

fortunato 03-12-2008 07:35 PM

maybe 6 is all the president's men

neverending 03-12-2008 07:35 PM

Marathon Man

_____V_____ 03-12-2008 07:35 PM

Time is ticking...:p

Despare 03-12-2008 07:36 PM

And fortunato gets another point!

The last movie was... Sphere.

Alright _V_, give them question #4, make it a hard one!

_____V_____ 03-12-2008 07:37 PM

Wtg, Fortunato again!!

Alright Des, let me get a real tough one...;)

fortunato 03-12-2008 07:37 PM

5- runaway jury?

edit- oh, haha. okay.

_____V_____ 03-12-2008 07:39 PM

Don Corleone has a very nice Godfather question for you...

- What is the name of the horse whose severed head finds its way into Hollywood producer Jack Woltz's bed when Mr. Woltz refuses to cast Johnny Fontane in his new war film?

fortunato 03-12-2008 07:39 PM

woah. that's a tough one.

neverending 03-12-2008 07:40 PM

Khartoum....

_____V_____ 03-12-2008 07:40 PM

Here's a pic to bring back those memories...;)

Way to go...

All yours, Des.

fortunato 03-12-2008 07:41 PM

nicely done, neverending!

Despare 03-12-2008 07:43 PM

Ok, here's our last four questions but first let's check the scores.

Oooo, Neverending is a wee off declaring a tie it seems.

Fortunato has 3 points by answering questions about Bond, sequels, and Hoffman while Neverending is sitting at a mere 2 points with his movie poster knowledge and the memories of a horse's head. Next question up in a second...

Let's keep with the Godfather theme here.

Q: Which Godfather movie won the most Oscars?

_____V_____ 03-12-2008 07:44 PM

This is a close contest indeed...

Wow, and fortunato with an answer so quick I hardly had time to submit it first! Good job. Godfather II won 6 Academy Awards (Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Art Direction, and Best Score). I believe _V_ has something a little tougher for you coming up though.

neverending 03-12-2008 07:46 PM

yes, you're right

_____V_____ 03-12-2008 07:49 PM

neverending 03-12-2008 07:50 PM

Enter the Dragon 2

_____V_____ 03-12-2008 07:51 PM
