I would like to vote for Donnie Darko..Besides any excuse to watch Jake is good with me, and I would like to hear other takes on the movie.

I've seen all three of those movies though. :(

Aha! I actually have this film on the shelf, I saw this in the theatres way back when it was new. Haven't watched the DVD in a while but this is a fairly cool movie.

Well I shall be sitting out unless it is viewable online because I leave tomorrow at noon to go visit my girlfriend in North Dakota and I will be gone until the 13th.

I'll probably be sitting this one out as well, seeing as I don't own this film.

Have you all checked netflix maybe able to watch it there. or blockbuster may have it in the store. or the library

My blockbuster doesn't have it, and I don't do online rentals.

Go buy it....i'm sure you can find it for under $10

bleh, me too. i ended having an insanely busy weekend and couldn't get a hold of funhouse, let alone time to watch it.

I just watched it it was good. Nice effects on the villain and the funhouse was really gave a tight and cramped felling. And the carnies all looked freaky too.

Really? I'm really surprised that Blood Beach didn't make it in to this round (based on reading through three pages of posts)

Because of this, and the fact that the book was released before the movie due to a delay in post production, it is often mistaken that the movie is based on the book, but the book is in fact based on the movie."

so are we discussing Funhouse or not? I did my homework and watched it, but I don't want to give away any spoilers if it's not open for discussion yet.

I wanted to mention that while I think "The Funhouse" is a great horror film, the sound mix on the DVD is awfully unbalanced...deafeningly loud ambient effects and whisper-quiet dialogue tracks...not very much fun to listen to, which is a shame because the musical score is so good.
