I watched that at the recommendation of someone here (I just can't seem to remember who now  ) and really loved it.

Awesome. Now I'm watching it ASAP.

Rik Mayall is awesome in that movie. The 80's BBC show The Young Ones is one of my all time favorites.

The first time I saw it when I was younger I couldn't watch the end and I thought it ended with lizzie taking the last pill to get rid of drop dead fred. I was sad for weeks. :(

I can't believe it has a 4.7 rating on imdb!

Abominus 01-02-2008 05:14 PM

Plague Dogs, SLC Punk, Pi, Garden State

Ditto that.

(I HAD to quote your post if for NO other reason but to have yet another picture of Rik Mayall in this thread... LOVED Drop Dead Fred when I was wee, and I LOVE The Young Ones.

The young ones,
Oh, Darling we're the young ones,
And young ones
Shouldn't be afraid!

To live, love!
While the flame is strong!
For we wont be the young ones
Very long!

what did you like about that film? i thought it was complete garbage.

ferretchucker 01-04-2008 07:14 AM

whether or not you consider it a horror, I'm gonna put face/off on the list. Coz I'd call it more of an action.

The Mothman 01-04-2008 07:24 AM

its not horror at all.

THE VAMPIRE 01-06-2008 09:18 AM

If face-off is horror then Simpsons are horror too

ferretchucker 01-06-2008 01:00 PM

I only said that because the idea of someones face being taken off and put on a psychopaths face is pretty bad. I'd class it as action but I thought there might be someone out there that classes it as horror.
