Halloween: Resurrection

Wow... 4. OMG! 4 out of like 15.

My ever unpopular vote for this, Friday the 13th part 2. Mrs. Vorhees was the killer in 1! I like Jason...well, through like #4, after that suckfest and Jason Goes to New York, someone should be shot for that...but the mother was a brilliant idea then it's the supernatural, undying son. Also Halloween 3 (does not have anything to do with the Halloween franchise except the name for the green stuff). Both Matrix sequels.

jaws 4 was fairly fucking poor.

My favorite series is Nightmare.... but NOES 2 is horrible! The worst sequel EVER.

"A Nightmare on Elm Street" series has gone through a very weird development. As said before, the second part is the worst compared to the other sequels (though "Freddy's Dead" wasn't much better), again the third one is considered the best right after the original and usually NOES fans appear to enjoy the fourth and the fifth one too.

My favorite is "The Exorcist", I think. Lets be honest, "Exorcist II: Heretic" is such a pile of steaming junk that it would make anyone throw up during the first few minutes... Yet Renny Harlin's "The Beginning" (2004) was pretty okay at least compared to the second part. The original is greatest of course. ;)

Oh god, how could I have forgotten this! Dead on.

I liked when they pushed the guy down the elevator, and that's IT. lol

I reckognised characters from the first one in the second one.

And, i think 4 out of 15 is too many. I think horror fims should have a maximum of 3, preferably 2.

I know, I hate the fact that they're only attracted to OTHER Scream films. Makes me sick...


Hills Have Eyes had a pretty bad sequel too, I still can't believe the DOG had a flashback (not the remakes).

i totally disagree. the first was awful followed by more of the same. i think the sequal was consistent with the quality of the first one in that it lacked any quality.

I can stomach the first one......the sequel made me puke!

I think Exorcist 2 may be the worst sequel to a great film ever made.
Pumpkinhead 2 is horrid. And I loved the first one.
Jaws 4 is so bad, its just hilarious.

2nd that......

the exorcist is one of the few franchises where the original is followed by a really poor sequal then that's followed by a great sequal. its the only movie that comes close to the top in both the best sequal/worst sequal categories. if the previous two hadn't existed part3 would be thought of as a great.

Exorcist 3 (direct sequel) was brilliant!

The scene where the guy shoots out from nowhere after the nurse still makes me jump out of my skin, although I know whats going to happen.

It's darn spooky in places!

I agree....I saw it for the first time a few weeks ago, and while I think it had some problems, I like the direction it took; it had lots of energy, and those involved seem to realize they couldn't just make part 1 again, and tried something different. But at the same time, I can definitely understand why some hate it.

And Exorcist 3 is a fine sequel, I really liked it, and I almost didn't give it a chance based on my low opinion of part 2 (which I still haven't been able to finish by the way, too disappointing).

i just watched demons 2 recently and thought it was nowhere near the first in terms of atmosphere and tension.

Just because you are a BIMBO from Denmark and wouldn't know a good movie if it smashed you in the face.....
