Although Deposable might have been a little strong with his criticism, I can see where he's coming from. Okay, this isn't personal, but here goes...

There has been some big things happening around here as of late. Urge, you became a mod. 42ndstreet and rtdb (sp?) got banned. Threads have becoming very nonsensical and "tawdry". I'm just as guilty of that as a lot of other people, but I think folks are just getting concerned as to where this site is going.

I mean shit, change is bound to happen, its pretty much the only real absolute. But I guess it can be a little intimidating when the amount of mods is growing. You're right, 2 mods can't cover this place by themselves, but the flipside is that people fear a more "stifled" atmosphere around here. Now I personally don't know why 42nd and rtdb were banned, I didn't see why that happened (and I guess only the mods know what happened for sure).

So please, this is just my opinion on the current situation. I hope I didn't offend anyone but things have been building and building, it was just a matter of time before someone said something. I hope this doesn't get me in trouble.
