As much as I don't know any of you who are "leaving" and couldn't really care less, the one person of you all I would honestly miss the most is Shanks. if we're at my place we're having dinner, a couple of drinks then sitting around shooting the shit - probably watching a movie later.

Actually, Friday night I was on AIM WHILE I was AT the club (yes, they DO have computers at the clubs)...lol...That was pretty damned funny...I had signed on to check on the kids, but 4 people popped in while I was online...One of them even got to chat with a drag queen...lol...Damn, I was wasted then, too....

i cant really relate i guess ...

i only go to clubs to see bands and i only have a couple there too ..
once i'm into the band i dont want to be bothered going for a beer.

the ultimate reason though is that i do the driving .. and downtown is a long way away.
I definately am not a believer in drinking and driving..

I LOVE the music, but hanging out with friends and dancing is really why I go...The drinking part is actually a new thing for me (2 months now)...So, I'm just having fun with it, and Sergio is all hung up on EQ2 now, so I get rides from others when he's too busy or if I want to get there early, because when he picks me up after he gets off work, it's almost midnight...I will NOT drink and drive :)

I don't think a GB thead is that much of a "big deal", nor is it intended to be by most of those that make them - I myself made a "I'm temporarily pissing off" kinda thread, and at least in my case, it was more of a courteousy thing to my online friends that post here...nothing more.

I'm not denying that in certain cases it sure does look like a cry for attention. If I can acknowlegde THAT, those that feel the need to jump in and recycle lines on each and every "goodbye" type thread SHOULD be prepared to accept that some of them are simply for informations sake, to eliminate the need for sending out multiple messages.
