Totally understandable, wu. You simply couldn't bear to see your friend suffer, and were relieved when it was finally over for him. I would have felt the same.
yeah, thats excatly it

[B]I have watched two people die. My Grandma and my Dad.

When my Dad died he just stopped breathing and nothing else happened. But several hours before he died he started breathing heavy and seemed very agitated in the exact same way my Grandma did a day before her death.

They call it the death rattle, I don't know why but thats what I've always heard it referred too.

Working in a prison(s) I have seen 2 people kill themself by hanging, we cut them down, but they still died. I have also seen 1 person die due to knife wounds, lots of blood. We did CPR but to no avail, so you might not want me to do it if you ever get hurt.

As a Lieutenant everytime there is an execution, as managers we are put on standby. The death squad is comprised of managers only, (Captains and Lieutenants) and the assignment rotates with each execution. My number has yet to come up.

Ugh. no thanks. Dead things in general scare the hell out of me. I cant imagine going through what any of you have. i have watched a pet mouse and a pet hamster die from tumors, and it isnt pretty.

The mouse had gotten so bad that her teeth clicked (loudly) everytime she took a breath. We ended up giving her some rum laced with nyquil. she drank it, kept gasping, then just stopped. I would never have imagined that watching something like a mouse die would have too much of an effect on me, but it was really wrenching to see it. It didnt help that she was emaciated, and all of her hair was slicked back... Poor pathetic little mouse... My fiance lost it. it was her pet.

The Hmaster (RIP: Bubbles) got a tumor that grew bigger than her head (but on her side). It was really sad towards the end because she was a hyperactive little shit, and by the end she could barely move. She died in our hands too. That one messed me up, because she was like a really tiny puppy..

I watched first my mother die of cancer, then 5 years after, me and my two brothers took care of my father as he passed the same way. Nobody should ever have to change their fathers diaper. Word to the wise kids....don't smoke.

Now where is the silly threads....this is much too depressing.

I saw a cat I had die...that's all I got.
He got sick for like 2 days, I fuigured he'd just ahd some bas catfood, so he was resting up a lot, then he just started cryin', jumped down from the chair he was on, tried to walk, fell over, went into a seizure and died. Looked pretty painful, I remember seeing his pupils dilate almost fully.

I haven't watched someone die, but I saw someone get shot.

I was driving with Evis to Chicago, and we were at a stop light and we saw these two people fighting. One guy pulled out a gun and shot the guy in the chest. It was pretty scary.

Did ya see it rip out the other side of him?
Just wondering...
