The rest just couldn't live up to original film. They stopped making them after Anthony Perkins died.

Psycho is an excellent horror film.

I wasn't allowed to watch the movie until I was 12 because I caught a sneak of the shower scene and I had nightmares for two days...

To this day, I lock my door while taking a shower.

Psycho is one my my favorite hitchcock films... yeah definately if you are a horor fan you need to see this flick....

I, too, was a little disappointed the pace the first time I saw this film -- maybe because its reputation had me geared up to be terrified from frame one. Over the years I've grown to love it more and more.

Amazing movie in the fact that it creates menace without showing any violence. If you notice in the shower scene, you never actually see the knife go in Ms. Crane. Look for the BIRDS!

This is a bit of a myth. You actually do see the knife going into her in one quick shot. It's done with a retractable blade rather than a prosthetic torso, so I guess technically you can see the knife didn't go into her, but still...
