i definitely DO plan on going one day, but in good weather! that and hopefully with a friend or 2, make it more fun ya know? too bad theres no nightlife there. then again its my fault i dont like asians but still, SUCKS.

randall - u notice how the costumed guys are always accompanied by a regular joe? thats so that if they faint they can be saved!! u know if ur sick and u hafto upke, u hafto puke in the costume? ur not allowed to take it off (u know, itll ruin the magic).

I say you go. Here's why. Airplanes are air conditioned and on a 16 hour flight, you'll probably get 2 or 3 meals and a couple movies! (Maybe you can request Evil Dead or something. Lol. Doubt it.)

There ARE vegetables in the Phillipines, so you'll be okay there. Here's a bit of info you may not know, ALL GRANDMAS DO THAT! It's not just yours, it's min, it's my girlfriend's, it's my friends. All grandmas try to force you to eat food that you don't want to eat! Telling them does no good, they'll still try to insist on feeding you. You just have to say you're full or not feeling well. (That's what I do when I've got a grandma trying to shove food down my throat.)

To avoid the sun, you can go into vampire mode and travel by night.

Maybe there will be a nice asian boy at the club, you won't know until you look!

You'd be surprised how many of em are women. I actually dated one of em once... She was cute!

Generally they only do 20 minute stints and then a replacement takes over cos it's so hot in there. The illusion stops when you travel the network of tunnels beneath the 'Magical' kingdom.

Puke in the the costume? Then there'd be an extra dwarf for Snow White to clean up after... Pukey!!!

and im giving them money cuz those kids dont hav anything!! lol unless something strange has happened since the last time i went but when i was there it was 24 pesos :$1 whereas now its 50pesos :$1 so its gotten worse. that and lots of gangsters and druggies lately.
nightlife. again, the asian thing. i dont like lil asian boys.
as for the tv... all id do is end up watching cartoons. they have soap operas, LOL exactly like we hav here, except obviously in tagalog. they play the same music we do but im not sure they get all the chanells.

but yeh. i mean theres a lot of fun aspects but theres a lot of shitty ones, mainly being the weather. i most ilkeyl WILL just stay and chat with u fuc.... i mean friends :D

If i was you i would go. you would be crazy to pass up a chance to travel. the Philippines is a fantastic place. Who knows you might even find someone interesting, a little summer romance?

As for going or not......you should go, I guarantee if you dont, you'll regret not going, even if you do forget, it'll keep popping back up "shit I should have gone" "shit I wish I'd have gone" in the back of your mind. Also every time you're reminded of your aunt, or see a picture of here, that'll remind you of the day you chose not to be part of, sorry if it dont sound nice, but we all think you should go!!

btw get some high strength sunblock.
