First confirmed case in the city of Ottawa. 40 year old man who recently travelled to Austria.

It harsh and a bit racist. But I'm surprised with Trump wanting to stop Mexicans and Muslims from entering the country. He didn't stop people coming from these countries close to the virus.

It's probably too late now. It was just reported that perhaps 150 million people in the United States might get the virus. If true and gatherings of people around 200 are being shut down, what about stores and warehouses? How about public transportation? This is about to be something out of a horror movie.

And here its March Break next week so think of all the people that will be travelling! Im over 60 and relatively healthy but my husband is 80 with very bad asthma. Since the case was reported in Ottawa, i have told him i will do any necessary shopping. ::EEK!::

Spring and warmer weather will probably help. Probably..

Uh, America...I think we're fucked. Trump will never agree to do what China and the Italians are doing. Electing a deeply ignorant conman may have been a bad idea. My guess is probably 2,500,000 dead over the next year.

Good news: cyberpunk starts now!

I was supposed to go to Monster Mania on Saturday. They cancelled it. ::sad::

Im not surprised they would shut something like that down, HF. Probably a lot of the actors, etc wouldnt want to travel. I saw that Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita have it.

They had about 4-5 celebs cancel, but, found celebs to fill the void. Dave Hagan, the guy that runs it, spoke with the NJ Department of Health, and other officials, and they advised him to cancel it.

Bummer because I already have plans in June and August that won't allow me to attend those shows.

They are closing down the schools for 3 weeks in my area. The first week is March break and the last 2 weeks are for safety.

Here it’s 2 weeks, for now.

Never experienced anything remotely like this in my country. Still... I think people are panicing over an unknown flu.
