I guess. Just good horror movies.
Specifically based on sub genre. Just a collection of horror movies you'd recommend if someone wanted to watch fun horror films or gory ones or slasher ones?

My plan for the video is to split it up into categories.
Here are a few movies to watch if you want jump scares!
Here's a few to watch if you want some gore!
Here's some cerebral psychological horror!
Here's some light hearted fun horror!
That type of stuff.

I basically wanna make a video list of movies that people can watch and hopefully find a group of movies to fit the type of Halloween that they want.

Failing all that. Just a list of great horror films will do too.
Sorry if its still kinda vague. The video is still in its planning stage!

Jump scares...Blair Witch Project.
Gore: Baskin.
Cerebral: Gothic
Light hearted: Slither

Good choices. I'm not sure I've heard of Baskin before. What's it about?

Also, feel free to add more different types of horror that I haven't thought of. Like slasher or classics.

Demons ( 1985 )
Evil Dead Trilogy
Night of the Living Dead ( 1990 )
Nosferatu ( 1922 )
Phantom of the Opera ( 1925 )
In the Mouth of Madness
Nightbreed
Shocker
Dagon

Well Baskin is about this horrible place called google where the foolhardy go to find the answers they seek. Or are they really smart and not fools? Only the devil knows!

Hey guys.

I'm looking for a list of about 20 horror movies to watch this upcoming Halloween.
I have a YouTube channel where I review horror films and this year I want to compile a list of 20 horror movie recommendations and a few honourable mentions.

So I ask you guys, what films should I put on the list?

I know a few obvious ones:

Halloween
The Exorcist
The Shining
Psycho
Alien

I'm looking for a few hidden gems or underrated main stream movies.
It'll be a big help if I can get some recommendations from fellow horror fans.

Here's my channel:

I wanna start working on this list soon and hopefully get a video done by the week before Halloween.

Old B/W horror Sci-fi classics might be a good category. Fun ones like Fiend Without A Face and King Kong 1933.

^ Very much this! I'll add The Tingler to that group, Vincent Price makes that movie work so well.

Sad to see no one posted Halloween 3 yet. Unless, the topic starter meant the whole Halloween series.

I've always considered Halloween III: Season of the Witch to be a standalone movie, not related to the Halloween franchise at all.
