Now all is quite mellow.
Been through some major abuse with a guy. Had my nose broken, and have a nice scar as a reminder on the back of my head. Had a lot of bad family stuff happen, worked as a tarot card reader, manager of a major cosmetics line in a department store, was a hairstylist, worked in childcare after for a long time, ended up landing a job as a director of a child care centre thanks to some grateful parents, after my boss got outed. Also sang in a my brother's band, and was a Theatre major in University, also taking religious studies and psychology.

Lived with my grandparents until at least 7 or 8, and my God parents are Bachmans. Cousins of Randy Bachman Re: Bachman Turner Overdrive or Guess Who.

Yeah I am a freak! This is my life!

About the abuse thing... Well, I'm sorry and... Willing to hate the guy in any way you like! On the rest... You're not a freak, just had a... Well, busy life! Which has some positive side, if you think of the stories you have... Anyway, I'm gonna get some sleep now... Good night, friend (s)!

Hi Plague...

Well I don't really want to wine because I survived and have a good life now , and a great husband! things do work out in the end!

Just been through it all. Horror to me is an escape from the real stuff. Some of the thingsI have been through have been worse than any horror movie there is. Absolute terror at times. But like I said , my life is good now and has been for a long time. Now I just want to laugh!

I have to sleep too, 5:30 am comes too soon, and it is already almost 11:00pm torturing myself again! Oh well, Have a great sleep friend!

wowe nine. you've been through some bizarre stufff, from all ends of the spectrum! but the important thing, like you said, is your still here, have learned a lot and now are living pretty happily from what it sounds! good for you! so many people would spend the rest of their lives moping!

as for the dark, im a bit scared of it too. not as much as before but id much rather havea light on than none.

of course at night no lights at all and NO noise. ugh ive become so sensitive to those things the past few years its annoying. very hard to fall asleep

Hi buddy!

Life is too short To mope! Can definately not sleep with any noise, at least when I am just trying to sleep. Like it semi dark with some light so I know I still have my vision!

Good night Fluffho, hope your computer is still working in the morning!

Talk to all of you in the morning, here anyway...

Your cheerful little freaky friend!

I meant to put thumbs down

But anyways this movie is about this little kid who freaks out because he has night terrors. The lights have to be on 24/7 in order for him to feel comfortable. At the same time the kid is left alone with his big brother, who is the typical smart ass big brother. Of course on this night of course there is a terrible storm and the power shuts off, therefore the little tike just about shits himself. When in the dark he encounters tall Al Jourgenson like monsters who wil stomp you like cheesecake supposedly. But anyway it turns out that these things live off fear. So everybody copes with the so called "monsters," and ya you get the idea.

nine9...
Suggestion - desensetise yourself to the dark, just deal with it first for like y'know just a few minutes, maybe with yknow, a light on outside and the door all but shut...then a few more minutes every day, door shut further and further over nightly.
Not only will you eventually get cooler with it, but you'll find your eyes will adjust and be able to more or less see in the dark after more than a few minutes exposure.
And hey...it's not like you don't wanna get over the shit, right?

nine9 05-11-2004 04:18 AM

Hi

I only don't like pitch black dark. I'm ok with dark with a little light. Yes I want to get over it, because people do go blind sometimes or get stuck in dark places, and I would like to keep my sanity in this case, or still have a great life no matter what. So thanks Cheeba!

On the movie, well I guess this would be a good one for me! I don't think I've ever seen it. Something to creep ME out for sure!

That's always good to hear, you know... Now, for horror being an escape... I can so totally understand that! Some friends of mine think it's weird, but... Well, it just works well for me! :0)
