A problem almost bigger than finding some of these elusive creatures, IS THE PEOPLE finding them. I swear, they are some of the least credible/competent people I've ever seen. You've got the natives with that goat thing overseas that will probably let that thing rot before anybody does tests or can identify it properly... the guys that found the bigfoot won't let anyone but the other bigfoot specialist see it... and that monster thing washed up on shore was left to rot and is now a skeleton and a pic on a digital camera.
Gimme a break.
If I found something like this, I'd be showing it to as many people as possible and would let any scientist take whatever samples they wanted off of it.
Sadly those stories on CNN are as far as those discoveries will ever go. We'll never hear the outcome. As is typical with most "monster" stories.
It's fun to believe in this stuff... but until I see something tangible... I'm still skeptical.
