drop out of that class and stop thinking of stress as a bad thing, mm. :)

I understand that there is good stress and bad stress. I am just really bad at controlling my bad stress so I end up completely shutting down in stead of fixing what is wrong. What I have learned so far has been very motivating. ie: general adaptation syndrome. You get stressed and it is bad, you adapt to stress, and then your body can't take it anymore and you get sick and eventually die from the stress put on your body. I don't want that to happen, so I am more motivated to move out asap.

I giggled about idea that telling people their stress will kill them if they don't get rid of it as a way to reduce stress in people though. stress won't kill you, what kind of credentials do these instructors have?

Best way to deal with being a 'bitch' is to bitch about it on the internets..

My chick and I...when we're talking about our friends, literally 90+% of it is focused on the shit they do that annoys us/pisses us off.
Same with family.
Yknow why?
Because people are fucking annoying, doesn't matter if they're your friends, the human race finds ways to just fuck eachother off...most are just self centred and inconsiderate of others, without even realising it - Hell, I'm probably guilty of this myself to an extent, but on the other end there's the real oxygen theives that you just HAVE to think would be better put off the Earth.
With friends, with family, just be honest and straightforward, don't sugarcoat things - Any REAL issues will either sort themselves out, or not, in which case it's pretty much up to you to deem it worthy or unworthy of continued exposure.

I honestly think her only credential is that she has a really soothing voice and smiles a lot. :D

She was a bit of an over-sharer and told me about her Dad being in jail, how she has ptsd, how her dad was an alcoholic and killed her dog right in front of her, how her dad tried to poison her mom for insurance money. Then she told me all about her love of the Twilight series, and about every single book she read throughout her entire childhood. Finally I told her I had to leave, and walked away to see a friend. The first thing out of my mouth was "omg I just spent an hour with the most annoying person in the woooorld, thank god I saw you and escaped." Turns out the girl had followed me, and was standing less than a foot behind me. I was mortified, and felt so bad cause she clearly just needs friends. :(

Over-sharers bother me. Don't feel bad; they need to learn how to socialize properly. I don't think you were being bitchy at all.

They are annoying. Almost as annoying as the time my uncle went mental and drove his car into a supermarket. It was because he was on drugs which he bought from my cousin. Nobody died in the crash but it pushed my grandmother over the edge to the point she actually murdered her pet dog and went to prison because of it. I go to visit her sometimes but she just smears shit all over the window.
