I'm not being a dick, but I'm rarely impressed by twist endings. The ending of Se7en genuinely surprised me. Another surprise with Se7en was Kevin Spacey. All through the early chase scenes I was joking with my friend "Dude, it's Keyser Soze!" Turns out I was right.

The last zombie in Rec scared the hell out of me. I'd already had the final shot ruined for me by the trailer for Quarantine, but still...

I was going to mention that, came across my copy when picking out movies for a Halloween party. My buddy said Awake sucked as a movie but had a pretty good twist at the end.

This thread should end, or be deleted.

Nothing good can come from ruining the endings of films or cluing poeple into the fact that the film they are about to watch has a twist.

If you know a twist is coming, you start hunting for it, which undermines the drama and can ruin a film. As a viewer, I try to go along for the ride and never try to "figure it out" because that can only undermine the drama of a situation.

Saw, Fight Club, Memento, Oldboy and The Other...love them all.

I like to add two of my favorite classics....The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) & Les Diabolique.:)
