Actually pretty enjoyable granted the awful graphics. Trouble is, I started paying to have priveleges and now my game is pretty much based on all of the members stuff so I could never go back without paying. :(

I might try the one you suggested. But if it's all just a big battle, how can you expect to level up as a n00b when all the guys killing you are about lvl 100. Or does it simply get harder as you progress?

Runescape was the shit!
i used to play it all the time through high school, really amazing considering the whole game is online. I need to go back to playing it, i bet a whole bunch of stuff has changed, but my internet here sucks too bad.
what level were you? i think i was 50 or so.

I think I reached the late 60s or early 70s. They did a massive improvement on the graphics and there's a pretty cool thing called the grand exchange. Makes finding what you want a lot easier. There are also negative changes like a trade limit and not being able to kill people in the wilderness apart from in this place called Bounty Hunter.

Ferret:

The 'battle' I was referring to is like a game within the game. You don't have to do it, it's just extra. The reason I posted that is because me and Dude want some people we know to get to our level so we can DO those battles (supposedly they're a lot of fun!). But low levels have no trouble leveling up. There are areas for each level grouping. Some of them are safe zones, where other players can't hurt you unless it's an agreed to duel, and some areas are every man for himself. At the start of the game, it's incredibly easy to level up, so it isn't too hard to get on your own feet.

Tried to but I couldn't. I'm outside the US or Canada.

thats a fucking HUGE negative change. thats the whole reason i was building my level in the first place, so i can run in the wilderness and kill some foo's and salvage all their stuff! where's/what's bounty hunter?

Mothman, if you liked Rune, you should totally try 2 Moons.

I'll give it... a 10/10 ;)

Try this if you feel adventurous. It might help.

It is NOT turn based. It's all out. And the battle system is simple and enjoyable, and you can use all your attacks easily. It's totally free. There are some things that require cash, but it isn't to better your gameplay or give benefits, so you won't even need it unless you're a retard and waste your skill points.

ill try it out, my internet here in NZ is pretty shit, and my computer is so virus ridden it might not run well at all, but ill give it a try this afternoon.
