Happy St Patricks day to all you with Irish blood and all those of you with out.

I just got in from work, just opened my first guiness, now I'm going to watch some football, not Irish football though.

The World's sexiest Leprachaun. But in the movie it was "Lep in da hood, come to do no good." But it's all good. :)

I'm 2nd generation American - the grandparents came from Ulster. St. Paddy's has always been quite the big deal in my family.

I started the morning cooking an an Irish breakfast for the family - sausages, bacon, egg, toast, broiled tomato, tea

Then sang at the kids' class

then had a bunch of writers over for brunch with Jameson & Guinness with singing and cavorting

then the kids came home and it's homework time

I'm cooking a shepherd's pie for dinner!

My mom's side of the family is 100% Irish so that makes me 50%. (Maybe a little more since my dad's side is a mix of all things European. He might have a little Irish in there somewhere.)

I probably won't hit the bars tonight, but I'll have a few brews at home.

Just got home, drinkin' me some Murphy's Stout. Happy Paddy's Day.
