personally i i've always hated catch-phrases - even as a kid.

hey look at me i'm cool ! ... because i say what the cool people are saying..

but dont say it past it's due date - or you're not cool anymore. gotta say the new thing !

Well, I can honestly say that I didn't know what you were talking about until I Googled it...so, I guess it hasn't hit my area yet.

no, i havent heard anyone say that..but i think its because i dont hang out with anybody.

I know about it and I enjoy the song but no one around here says it.

My friend on Enemy Territory has turned the boat thing into a lifestyle. He claims to 'live on a boat'. It's annoying as hell.

I've never even heard of this until I googled it....so we aren't at "Rick James, bitch" level QUITE yet (God, everyone was saying that in it's prime).

Sometimes catch phrases just remind you of something funny, I mean, I'll take a good "that's what she said" any day.
