I dont know ..thats hard to say...I think that black metal has a more melodic symphonic sound that u can relax and listen to..and death metal is fast and hardcore.but hey I dig them both

I haven't really listened to much metal, since I haven't been exposed to it at all, but what's the difference between black metal and death metal anyhow?
