Add me to the "Lee List".....the best IMO
For the record, I didn't hate Coppola's Dracula...could have been much better sans Keanu. Always like Herzog's "Nosferatu" as well. |
Both Nosferatus, Lugosi version, Lee/Cushing versions (dont care which ones suck...love em all), Brides, Langella's version, Palance's version, Oldman's version, even the Andy Warhol version with Udo Kier.
Here's a list :- http://www.geocities.com/athens/forum/2853/movies.htm Take your pick. |
Ah, yes. Udo Keir was amazing in Blood for Dracula. And, both Nosferatu films are amazing.

Boy, it took me a long time to warm up to the Oldman Dracula film as anything but eye-candy. It has gotten better and better for me, though. (I actually fell asleep when I saw it in the theatre that bitter cold winter!)
I really like Lugosi in the 1931 film, and the Spanish language version with the Mexican cast, that's actually pretty damn good. (Lupita Tovar was quite something, too. You know that "tovar" means "toad," right? If all toads looked like her...but I digress.) |

But seriously, I can watch any of the Hammer Dracula films (in fact, any of the Hammer vampire films) and enjoy them. |
