And I completely agree about The Signal, one of the best films I have seen recently. Its true, there is a lot of bad out there, but as has been said, its always been that way. Sometimes it takes some time to find that one good film that makes it worth sitting through all the crap.
But I am the rare individual that can usually find SOMETHING to like about most films, so I never really feel it is a waste. Sometimes I find them funny, sometimes there are scenes that are so good that they seem completely out of place, sometimes I really like the storyline or see an enthusiasm or creativity there that just doesn't seem to be in higher budget films. Its really worth giving films a chance, because sometimes you really do get a pleasant surprise.
