Haha, yeah, "robut", what about the episode with his father who's an aging director I believe. He makes a movie... hilarity ensues.

we're in the process of rewatching them all again (well, when we sit with our kid who's been watching them all over and over again)

the movie one rings a bell but i cant remember anything about the episode.

i didnt get zoidberg at first ... the professor was my favorite but now i cant get enough of the crab

You MUST remember the one where the professor creates a box containing an alternate dimension though... great stuff. I love them all, Amy a little less than most, most of the time she's just "there".

yeah - just saw that one...very funny ...

I like amy - but they walk a fine line with her character ..

being asian (and cute) is often what defines her and i dont think they can do much with her comedy-wise without poking fun at the culture (something they do with her parents)

i dont think the show is about that - with the exception of Zoidberg ...
(and as far as i'm concerned, an irrational jewish shellfish is ripe for comedy heads and shoulders above 'asian jokes'

i still like her though ... especially when she's mad and swearing in chinese :)

Yeah she's ok but she's not usually in on the gags, like you said she's just a cute klutz. The best ones with her usually involve Kip or her parents.

i actually thought most of the zoidberg jokes were a little forced. his curly references remind a bit too much of jabberjaw...

not saying it dont like him though. i happen to like bender more. i get a kick out of matter-of-fact evil.
