I'm working in the day which crushed my origanal plans... I'm working on a new one though.. Hopefully to get away for the night.

That sounds like a great idea, have a party at someone elses house rather than your own... then you don't have to worry about things getting broken... or steam cleaning.. ;)

I'm staying home with the boy to eat chinese food and maybe have a few drinks. Movies perhaps, or just the lame countdown shows.

I hate New Year's Eve. Too many people who shouldn't drink getting drunk and acting the fool, police checkpoints, cheap, shitty-tasting "champagne", people counting backward in unison... no fun at all.

I'll probably have a few drinks, because that's what I do every night, but I prefer to go to bed early and rise early New Year's Day to annoy the hungover masses.

Last Year I went to a tame little house party and this girl arrived completely drunk. She counted down every minute until New Years for half an hour!

I think myself and my girl will be hanging out and just having some drinks. We also might have my family hanging out, ordering some pizza, and just having some fun!
