Do women seriously demand buying diamonds? That concept is so... surreal to me... Diamonds aren't even as precious as most of the precious stones out there... It's the jewelry companies that will have you believe otherwise...

Agreed. Not only are they pushing tacky glassware, ugly settings, and cheap plating, they are mall jewelry trash. Their ads make me sick and remind me of America's sweet lowest common denominators; its people. :mad:

First of all, when typically presents given to a loved one are in the $150-$300 price range, who is buying $1000+ diamonds for people at Christmas---let alone cars! That is beyond me. Unless, of course, you sleep in money.
