OK guys don't hurt me but I just want to ask:
What is it that you think is so great about the Rocky films?
I have watched each one once only and I didn't think they where anything special (again please don't hurt me). Would you recommend I watch them again?

Also
I have not watched Rambo (shocking I know) so would like to ask:
Which do you prefer Rocky films or Rambo?

I am NOT a big fan of the Rocky films, not really a fan of Stallone in general, though the first one did have a certain charm, it has heart. But the others are just okay (at least the fourth one has that riveting performance by Dolph Lundgren "I must break you":D ) , and I thought Rocky Balboa was pretty bad actually.....*ducks to avoid hurled objects* ;)

But the Rambo films are highly entertaining....the first one is great. :)

Lol I agree with the statement that the first Rocky had charm and heart but from then own well...... *holds up shield for protection* I got bored with the same story over and over and over again. Rocky Balboa well.....*uses shield again* again it was the same general story although Stallone carried himself well.

I guess I will have to give Rambo a go. Apparently I simply must go see new Rambo so due to my silliness I guess I have to watch all the Rambo films. Praises whoever that there is less Rambo films than there is Rocky. *Runs away*

Oh I would still like the opinions of those who did enjoy the Rocky films. Thanks

Yeah, I am probably not the one to judge actually, since there is something about Stallone that usually annoys the hell out of me. Except for First Blood (at least watch that one, it is well worth it!) and Cop Land.
And I am also just not a boxing fan, I don't really find much entertainment in two grown men beating each other into brain damage.....;) I mean, I understand the appeal I suppose, just not for me. :) But since boxing doesn't appeal to me, I for the most part find movies about boxing pretty boring.

Ah well thats probably why I wasnt keen either. I like fight scenes but boxing kinda bores me.

everyone who's not a fan of Stallone, watch Cobra.

I think they should remake Tango And Cash.

i think the only good parts of thr rocky films are the first part and the end. The rest I just get board with. They always make me smile though and I do always think to myself "Go on rocky, one more left hook!". Never watched Rambo. I dunno, but I think he may be pushing it. Although! I love a concluder to show what happened after.

oh great. and after he is done with rocky 6 and rambo 4, he can make over the top 2, tango and cash 2, blah blah blah...

someone must be running out of money.

Over the Top is one of the best arm wrestling movies around! As for John Rambo, the trailer looks like a spoof. Some of the scenes look hilarious. I watched Rocky Balboa in the threatre so I would probably check this movie out when it comes to DVD.

Cobra, Lock Up, Demolition Man, Over the Top, Rocky 4, etc..... I like a lot of his movies!
