i do wash my hands when im done with him. he contaminates my clothes too though. i might put his cage next to a febreeze plug-in.:)

very good idea.

Next time you feel the urge to get a pet rodent, i would definately go for a rat or two. believe it or not, they smell better and are much cleaner than mice.

I do get the mouse thing though. i loved the ones we had. used to love bathing them and seeing how tiny they REALLY are.

if what you are referring to is "Richard gere Approved" then no, and he will never smell any better if you do that.

That being said, mice live in sewers, i dont think lack of light will be too big an issue.
