This was noticed while he was still registering...Which is why his posts under THIS screen name (as well as the other one that he is currently using) are being closely scrutinized...So far, he hasn't really done anything that the rest of us haven't done on occasion...And the repetitive bullshit has stopped.

But...Would you?...Would you really just let it go?...Normally if we have had problems with someone and they ARE able to do this, even though we know who they WERE, we allow them another chance, IF it is their intention to just participate in the forum as a 'regular' member...We even gave Bane this option, MANY times...Unfortunately, it seems that SOME people simply cannot straighten up and resist the urge to cause problems...Which is why Bane had to ultimately be IP banned.

I believe that the majority of us do.


The decision I made to 'Ban On Sight', was one that I made alone...Moderators should ALWAYS consult one another before performing an action...As I was the only moderator here at the time, I took the matter into my own hands...That decision (or moreso the decision to announce it publicly) was called into question by another moderator...

I had 4 reasons for making the decision to announce my intentions to the entire forum:

1) To address everyone's issues with him, at one time and let them know that an attempt had been made to do something about the problem that is pissing everyone off.

2) To allow Horror to see the responses of the ENTIRE forum, so that he could make a judgement about the necessity of an IP ban, based on the feelings of the entire forum...There was no way to obtain that input without announcing it publicly.

3) So that we would be alerted when he showed back up, in case we missed it, and he could be KEPT out...Which is in order to affect a 'manual IP ban'

4) To allow the offender to see that we were attempting to permanently get rid of him, hoping that he would alter his behavior because of it.


So, since Horror still hasn't responded to any of our requests to deal with this...I will continue to ban based on each individual incident...

Our options are limited here, and this is the best that I can do.

Apparently there are some people in this world who don't understand the expression,"take a hint." I would understand an attempt at a sort of "redemption," but to come back and try the same shit, then later try to change his identity without owning to past MISTAKES... That's insulting to all of us.
