That's what I was gonna say! craigslist is getting REALLY popular these days because it allows you buy/sell/post jobs for free and search by state or neighborhood. BR, craigslist.com is the way to go for sure. A manager at the hotel I work nights at put a help wanted ad on there and had 4 resumes on his desk within 24 hours.

Wow, that's awesome...Thanks!...Yeah, I'm doing that next...The two I just tried looked kinda cheesy, and it turns out that Yahoo is NOT free, if you want to post a job:rolleyes:

So, I'm just gonna skip trying MSN, I figure it's most likely the same as Yahoo...

LOL...And thanks for THAT, Vod...I'll keep that information in mind, just in case I ever end up needing it...

You know, like if Dustin ever refuses to wear a dress for some reason, or something like that...lmao:D

Okay...Now I have a kinda stupid question...

I have to pick a category to list this job on Craigslist...But, None of the options really fit...

Technically the job is 'Passenger Transport TFA'...But, on the other sites the closest option they had was 'driver' which brought up a bunch of trucker and delivery stuff, which this job definitely does NOT involve...So, I had the option to choose 'other' on those, and I did...

I don't even have 'other' here...What the hell am I supposed to choose?

These are the options:

jobs
accounting+finance

admin / office

arch / engineering

art / media / design

biotech / science

business / mgmt

customer service

education

government

human resources

internet engineers

legal / paralegal

marketing / pr / ad

medical / health

nonprofit sector

retail / food / hosp

sales / biz dev

skilled trade / craft

software / qa / dba

systems / network

technical support

tv / film / video

web / info design

writing / editing
[ETC] [part time]

Hmm...I thought that was for places like Target, Sears, Wal-Mart, etcetera, where people stand behind a desk and argue with people about returning broken crap...

Are you SURE this applies?

If someone is looking for a job like that, and this van driver thing is in there, they aren't gonna be interested...

Hey wait! (great, now I got Kurt Cobain...)...I just found another list on the other page:

Please choose a category: accounting/finance jobs

admin/office jobs

architect/engineer/CAD jobs (no IT/computer jobs here please)

art/media/design jobs

business/mgmt jobs

customer service jobs

education/teaching jobs

et cetera jobs

government jobs

healthcare jobs

human resource jobs

internet engineering jobs

legal/paralegal jobs

marketing/advertising/PR jobs

nonprofit jobs

retail/food/hospitality jobs

sales jobs

science/biotech jobs

skilled trades/artisan jobs

software/QA/DBA/etc jobs

systems/networking jobs

technical support jobs

tv/film/video/radio jobs

web/HTML/info design jobs

writing/editing jobs

Why do they have a different list for posting a job than they have for finding one?

Anyway...Do you think that 'Et Cetera Jobs' would work?...I wonder how many people would look at THAT one...

Well I seem to tick all the boxes, but the plane fare to and from the US to the UK would be a major drawback, not to mention the jet lag, though $20 - $40 per day is tempting. :)

Maybe there is a local newspaper/radio station that could help, probably cost a bit.

LOL...The $20-$40 a day is just your TIPS...Which actually average out to about $150-$200 a week on a normal week, PLUS you get paid hourly, and you have to work overtime every week, which you get paid time and a half for...

Your regular hourly pay comes out to about $345 a week (AFTER taxes are taken out), then you add THAT to your tips...And then you have the full amount...

I can't really give you an accurate wage figure, because you never know how much you're going to make in tips...

One night an old man gave Dustin a $40 tip, because he thought he left his glasses at the airport, so Dustin took him back to the airport and drove him around for over an hour, so that he could look for them...Then Dustin got a call on his cell phone, and it turned out the old man's wife had had his glasses in her purse the whole time...So, the old man said, "Here take this" (the $40), Dustin said, "No, I can't. That's too much"...The old man said, "Please, it will make me feel better for wasting your time"...So, Dustin took it...He ended up making about $70 in tips that night...

So...You just never know :)

lol...I'm surprised that one wasn't listed in the 'Et Cetera Jobs' Category...A lot of those looked pretty 'out there'...I'm hoping I didn't make a bad decision choosing that category to put this in...

There was a job for Egg Donors there...Among others...

I think it might have fit in hospitality as well.
