WE always give caramel apples and we put a big pumpkin full of candy so kids can pick there own. Most of the houses gave shit this year. BASTARDS!!!

I like to take the kids down to the very rich neighborhoods in Seattle...Last year these people put on this Haunted pirate show in thier front yard, and then gave out 12 packs of coke products:) Another Lady made giant baskets filled with aatleast 25 bucks of candy in each basket.

why do you have to give them candy anyway? why not come up with some more healther stuff...I do like candy apples tho. There worth givin out.

But thankgod we dont do trick or treat here hey..

1) most kids hate healthy stuff
2) most kids LOVE candy
3) most things that are healthy arent given the same thought towards safety like the candy thats traditionally been given out.

apples used to be popular until sick fuckers started to put pins and razor blades in them. parents usually throw them out.

when i was a kid there was a dentist who gave out new toothbrushes .. pretty good idea - very appropriate - but you'd find them littered all over his lawn and he got egged enough to turn his house into an omelette on a hot day.

kids - and the fear of kiddie retribution drive the parents to provide what the little buggers demand - teeth rotting sugar bombs.

maybe trick or treat should be done away with then...ISn't america fat enough already. Why promote it more.

urgeok 10-28-2006 04:54 AM

it would be like saying - lets do away with christmas and thanksgiving if thats the reason..

besides .. its a tradition that the majority embraces. things like that arent done away with until the people/government want them to be.

not going to happen...

Spallalala 10-28-2006 04:58 AM

I personally wouldn't have a problem with getting rid all the stupid lil holidays.

Maybe people should get over tradition cos its killing em.

I agree with giving kids healthier treats, it would be great if everyone done that. However, trick or treat is only once a year. How many kids would walk their little asses off for toothbrushes and apples? And yes, Americans are killing themselves with traditions.
