Honestly, what do people want? The same movie again and again and again or no more franchises? One Halloween, one Evil Dead, one Spiderman...
I didn't think AvP was bad at all but then again I looked at it not as an Alien movie OR a Predator movie but a monster flick where two well known monsters duke it out. It wasn't a masterpiece but it didn't make me want to burn it either. |
I don't think this movie could be worse than the the first AVP.But I've been wrong before.

I love Batman vs Predator comic by Dave Gibbons. The second and third are cool too.

I'm not too sure whether I'll just wait for it to come out on DVD or not. The trailer and rating will be what makes my decision. As mentioned its an R, so if over here in england its the equivelant (18) then I'll definately go...If its just a 15 I think I'll wait for DVD.

I think a higher rating was needed in the first one...I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it nearly as much as I was hoping to...They've bought together icons from a couple of the darkest horror-fi films there are, and I think that the film ought to have been a slightly more gruelling, dark experience.
If earth is the setting, fine...that follows on from the alien movies, and the predator/alien comics. "earth wars" was cool, and if they could work something around that, I'm sure it's allow for a better film than the first one was. Definatalely a good sign that it's beyond PG this time. |
