I have to agree that "The Version You've Never Seen" is the superior film. It feels a bit more true to the novel, with the extended hospital scene (although memories are vague - it's been over 20 years since I last read the novel).

Hey, at least they didn't fuck it up with poor quality CGI

Wrong forum....

Never seen any of this series.

But does the fish only eat priests on Fridays?

Oh! Sorry! I don't think any of the Exorcist "series", sequels or prequels are worth putting in the same sentence as the Exorcist. Just my opinion.

A lot of people consider the third film in the series as good as the first.

I wouldn't personally take it that far, but I just watched III the other day for the first time (note to self: don't be a dumbass and fail to watch a movie for that length of time ever again! :D ). I liked Brad Dourif's performance and George C. "Patton" Scott's performances. Plus, I finally learned what "hospital hallway scene" finally meant... ;)

I don't think it is as good as the first, but it is still a very good movie.
