OK - i've been avoiding this thread because - i don't get it. . . am i not seeing some image or video that makes this all make sense?

in general, all sports are homoerotic and all gay bashing is horrid - but there is obviously some theme to this thread that my little mind (or pathetic technology) is missing - help!?!
