that was funny.... i like the gambling to win money back thing.... kinda like poking more holes in a cup to make it hold more water, same kind of logic. |
Debt freaks me out. Im so scared to take out student loans next year...
If I would this guy, suicide would become a viable option for me. |
It's idiots like this that give gambler's, in general, a bad reputation.
I play poker alot. I love it. But I would never gamble more than I could afford to lose and I tend to win more than I lose. Just a little info on casino odds.... Aside from poker, in which your odds of winning depend on your abilities at the table, Blackjack has the best odds, giving the player pretty close to a 50/50 (Give or take depending on variables in House Rules) shot of leaving the table ahead some money. Slot machines have the worst odds at only 30% (Only 3 out of 10 players end up ahead.) Everything else (video poker, roulette, craps, keno, etc...) falls somewhere in between 30-50%. So, unless you are playing poker, the odds are that you are gonna lose. (The odds are that you'll lose playing poker too if you suck at it, however good players can win more than they lose and great players can make a living off of it.) |
Those odds are horseshit...
The only form of gambling that comes CLOSE to a 50/50 shot is the black or red bet on a roulette table, or betting on 2-team sports. |

If you need me to dig this up on the net for you to see for yourself, I can, but I know it's accurate. |

Here's a website that shows the odds (or house advantage) for every game in the casino. Notice that all the variations of blackjack are less than 1% house edge. Also, I never noticed before because I don't play it, but Keno has terrible player odds. |
