Stubborn, that's really interesting that you were raised with superstitions like that. I mean, I know you think it's crazy, but I don't think I know many people raised with superstitions. We Pagans are sorta schizophrenic about superstitions because since we believe the source, shouldn't we believe the sayings or some shit? I don't know.

I was always told that if I called my brother a fool I'd go to hell. I could call him a cock sucking dick faced mother fucker, but if I called him a fool, I was going to hell. This was based on some phrase in the Bible and my grandparents were Baptists. Some Baptists take everything in the Bible as literal. Weird.

I know what you mean, I was going to hell from the time I was five years old, so as I got older I started resenting it more and decided that if I was already going to hell for not cleaning my room and watching t.v. too late, I might as well make it count.....
now I just live by things that I perceive as true, my experiences, my theories and my own power as a living, cognizant human being and I'm a much happier person.
