The PS2 emulator I had was PCSX2...although not compatible with most games...it ran some movies and into the intros of SOME games...but I gave up on it awhile back cuz I read somewhere that PS2 emulation needed a high-end machine with a high-end graphics card, cuz of the sheer power of the PS2 gaming.
PSX gaming, on the other hand, is quite nice. If you are looking for decent emulators, you could try the ePSXe (although you need all the plugins and bios separately) or I would suggest getting your hands on Bleem! 1.5 or Connectix VGS...I would go for the latter cuz of much less hassle, plus it comes with the best compatibility and all plugins being a part of the EXE file... Look for a XP upgrade version of it if you are running XP...the original VGS is meant to run on 95,98 and 2000 systems only. |
