Try and take a little more time with your posts scary, not even punctuation but simple structure. You may get a better response if people understand what you mean. "now that got to tell you that noone cares" You see? Maybe you're not hated and ignored... just misunderstood. Maybe.

If your sister told you that I was her baby's daddy, would you believe that, too ? Of course not. She'd have to get DNA tests for that.
Stop with the "I'm back !"/"I'm leaving !" threads. That just draws unwanted attention to begin with. Relax. You'll live longer. And your sister's baby will have an aunt :D

I think you take message boards too seriously. When I joined my best friends' message board, no one knew me there but him. It was only after I posted for well over a year that the rest of the people really warmed up to me and started being buddy-buddy.

I post here because I enjoy it. I post my thoughts. If people don't want to respond, fine. If they do, great. If I'm here for another three years and no one responds to my posts, I'll just keep right on posting. Don't put too much stock in it.

Anyway, I'll see you around. Or not.

This seems like The_Return's kind of thread. He'll be wetting his pants when he see's this!

Minda, relax, honey. It takes time for people to get acustomed to you on a message. You have to post in a lot of threads before you start your own. Hell, I've been here nearly 3 years, and the threads I make still suck. It's kind of like a running joke (with me anyway).

Just go with the flow of the forrum, and stop worrying. You're not standing still while the whole world is turning. I promise you.

Geez, that's beautiful. I have Haunted's address already since I send her movies. Where do I send your half to, Scary ?

Do the friendship dance, Scary!!!!!

But seriously: I know it's easy to imagine that nobody likes you, etc. Especially if you are a solitary type person by nature, and are hungry for friendship, etc., it is easy to imagine that someone not taking a moment to talk to you is a kind of rejection. But not every moment of life is a drama. Sometimes people are just too busy with other stuff; it doesn't always "mean" something. Try not to take things too personally all the time, because things aren't meant personally all the time.

I can tell you for a fact that grammar and sentence structure DO matter on a message board, because on a message board, words are the only method of communication.

Sentences are sequences of ideas. And the ideas are created out of words, and groups of words. The better you get at arranging those ideas, the more people will understand what you write. Practice a little, and you will see an improvement. Not enough people know how to communicate well with words. (You wanna study someone who wrote really good stuff? Go to the library and get some Mark Twain and read some of his stuff. It's great!) If you get better at it, it is a real achievement, and you'll have one more thing to feel good about. Go to it! And best wishes.

You aren't old news. You became somewhat of a rookie-regular. People acknowledge your being, but don't make such a big deal anymore. I think I just made a bad name for myself and that's why I'm mentioned from time to time.
