Whoever wrote this forgot all the privileges white men have. Did he forget at one point that blacks couldn't do anything. I see where he's coming from, since this has crossed my mind a lot, but then I remember we're all equal. And sure, it does seem at times that white people are always racist, but blacks never are. But, blacks have to do the same line of work to earn the money and respect they have. Not just white men.

another thing to consider in interacism (very sure i used the wrong word). to elaborate: i am of hispanic descent; i often put up with people telling me i'm not good enough because i am states born, fair skinned, speak perfect english etc.

in responce to this i have learned to hate all people coming directly from the "mother Land". does this make me racist? hell yes; although i do make an exception from time to time this does not make me any less self loathing.

surely all ethnicities have dealt with such racism from their "own People" from time to time. point being; the anglo is not always to blame for the evils we face daily. granted their reputation (historically speaking) is infamous, but do the insecure not single out the week. this is only another example of such behavior.

do we not occasionally joke about the trailor trash, inbread hillbillies, and snotty upper class.

Yes...But 'Classism' is acceptable...People CHOOSE to live a certain way...And...Rednecks are just funny...lol

perhaps i should have reworded that thought before typing

i simply meant it is another form of seperatist behavior
could it not also be a sub form of racism

Anyway...You missed the point...

WHICH IS WHY I WROTE "I DON'T KNOW YOU"! IF I KNEW HER I WOULDN'T HAVE WRITTEN IT.

I think the crucial difference is 'choice'

You can't choose your color...You can choose your lifestyle

Would making fun of Strippers, Prostitutes, Democrats, Republicans, Cops or Criminals be a form of 'racism?

Of course, people choose their religions, too...I think that issue becomes heated just because it's so deeply personal and many people do not understand certain aspects of some religions other than their own.......BUT...That's not a form of racism either...That's just 'intolerance'...And...Ignorance (it has THAT in common with racism)...

Oh..And..

@Zero:

I KNOW...I WAS JUST POINTING THAT OUT...LOL!!!

I'm not gonna say too much about it since all of this has really already been said...I don't consider myself to be racist, but I can see where this kid is coming from to an extent. I'm not gonna say "I'm white and proud", race shouldn't even be an issue anymore. We're all just human, nothing more, nothing less. So yeah...I have to say I do get sick of hearing about how "racist white people" are by other races. I refused to print a black womans sexually explicit photos...why? Cos it's company policy. I got called a "white bitch" because of this...why couldn't I have just been a "bitch"? The reason I didn't print her photos has nothing to do with whether I'm white, and she's black, I simply just did not want to lose my job.
Anyway, I could get into this more, but like I said, I won't right now. I'm sure I may get hit by someone in here from what I've said already. But yes, things like this, and feminism for instance, don't sit too well with me.

I agree 100%...There isn't ANY reason to define a person by color...

This shit has just REALLY gotten old.....It's overplayed...Time to let it go...

Well, just like the kid said...if we told anyone who acts like this to get over themselves already, we would be racist, or sexist. That's why I do see what he means.
