I myself have been training hard to become a qualified teacher..studied for
7 years..with placements as teacher aiding
in the meantime..
Last year..i got my masters ..finally..and now concentrating on my bachelors..
however..em getting the same response..
sorry ..no placements available..
As for them bloody voice mails..!!grr
Makes you want to storm down to the offices and find the person to that voice and choke her..
They never ring back..courtesy call my ass!!..
You feel that you want to give up..but don't..after all that hard work..something will eventually come
around.
Em still waiting too ..
in the meantime..we have all just started our xmas holidays..
em one of the few lucky ones from the
education dept..who will continue to get paid over the holidays because of my degree..
other work collegues arent that fortunate...they got their last pay on monday,,no more for them till feb 06

EXACTLY! It's like nobody cares...they don't call no matter how many times I follow up! And some of the places I apply to are like 45-60 minutes away from my house. So I really don't want to waste my time/money driving up to these place just to be told "SORRY, the position's been filled" or whatever :( I wish THEY would just call me and tell me something/anything.
College is like this safe little bubble, and once you leave it...I swear it's like one of the scariest things ever:p I knew it was going to be hard, but I wasn't prepared for all of the rejection...or for that matter, total lack of response/general impoliteness.
Thank you for the encouragement. It's good to know that somebody feels the same, and understands what I'm going through.
