When Lionel slits Vera open in Dead Alive and all of the blood and guts in her body drain out. SO rediculously gory. he has to crawl out of her guts afterwards.

I'd have to say as far as pure gore, Ichi the Killer. When Ichi goes into that room and blood, livers, spleens, and some bodies just start pouring out of the door. Weird, lots of gore.

worst scene in that whole movie is when he sticks the needle through the bottom of the Suzuki's chin and it comes out his mouth, and when Kakihara breaks all of those ladies fingers backwards.

The needle through the bottom of the mouth would've been more effective for me if the CG wasn't HORRIBLE.

Guinea Pig: Flower of Flesh and Blood- The woman is strapped to a bed where a man carrys on an act of mutilation to her wrists, ankles, he ends up detaching all her limbs and then cuts her stomach and pulls her organs out.

That would have to be Fulci's girl-vomit-entrails or the bloody lawnmower-zombie death scene in "Dead Alive". But it seems I seriously need to keep an eye peeled for a copy of "Ichi The Killer" and "Guinea Pig: Flower Of Flesh And Blood". :)

ugh ! You had to bring that up. I have a thing about wrists for whatever reason and that part always makes me squirm.
Anyhooo I always loved the guy getting cut in half vertically in the '13 Ghosts' remake by the glass door and his front half of body slides down while top half is still plainly visible through the glass. Fun stuff LOL
