I have been known to leave these dreadful looking plastic spiders sitting where people will find them. They have to be really nice looking, exceptional quality plastic spiders, and huuuge--only the best will do the job right. Just at the moment, I can get nice spiders at the local 99 Cents Only store, in fact I will go down there today and get another bag.

I guess in this new neighborhood,things are done differently.
It upsets me a little as well. We moved to this 'coming up in the world' neighborhood(our first yard!) last May. Anyway...I got Booed yesterday. They call it Spooked here and the lil bag was PITIFUL. This is a very nice neighborhood-these people have frigging money-I know it...and they do it like this? What a bunch of cheapskates....and on the other hand....to give ME a Spooked? That makes no sense,We don't NEED it. So,anyway I am still going to Boo the kid houses I already picked out and these people in my neighborhood can go...buy things at Peir One or whatever they do-stuck-up snots. I am a little amazed though,my last neighborhood wasn't even half as nice,people had to budget,etc etc,and they gave the kids a really NICE bag of stuff...maybe the more you get the less you give-but I'll be damned if that happens to me!:mad: So,I still nicely urge you all to make a cool halloween bag(if you can) for some kids that don't have a whole lot and leave it on their door:) |
