Thery're overdone... Slashers, no doubt. There's a diamond in the rough in every one, but horror itself is a very narrow genre, and because there's so little diversity its very easy for any yahoo to pick up a camera and start shooting some bullshit.

First of all, you're funny IA75, one of the funnier members of this forum...(I think we should have Newb's lounge for funny shit. Pardon me for volunteering you as bartender, Newb).
Anyway, I believe that you can never have enough zombies, unless they're trying to get into your house while you're at home.
The reason I quoted you is because you said vampires are overdone. I don't think they're over done, just done improperly. All of the vampires that I've ready about have bloody annoying personalities. You've got to give them some bite. (no pun intended) I've been trying to work through that for years, because I love a good vampire tale. I think I've got the hang of it now.
My book's main character is a vampire, but for her that's just a technicality. She does very well at being a vampire, and I think, and some others have thought, that she's actually really funny. I can't say, because I'm biased.
Once I get into the meat of the story, I'll post a little and see what you cats think.
