Well my pictures are gone but me and my girl have been Jack and Sally for the last couple years.

This year I've got a fucking fantabulous Vader costume that my grandfather bought me earlier this year, so she's going as Padme'.

We got all of 'em from buycostumes.com, very good site that I recommend.

I was a zombie last year....well, something like that. I just started throwing make-up, and blood on, and when I was done I figured that's what I looked most like. This year I need a better game plan.

:mad:I don't have any pictures from the last few years because I'm a freakin retail slave who got screwed out of doing anything but ringing up the masses. Not this year though!! I've taken 3 days off on either side of Halloween and I'm going all out. I'm using various prosthetics to turn myself into a pigman (a la Dr Moreau) in a butchers outfit. It's totally going to scare the shit out of children and adults alike!

I totally support your enthusiasm. If you got screwed out of a coupla years' worth of Halloween, I say take 'em back!

:D Seriously. Halloween is to me (and us I suspect) what Christmas is to the rest of America. This is it, the big day of the year when I can channel all my hobbies and creativity into dressing up and going out in public. Not just in black or "goth" but as a no holds barred, make people uncomfortable (in good fun of course) MONSTER!! It's about feeling more alive by celebrating death, feeling unafraid of things that go bump in the night because your one of them. Screw dressing up like a "pimp" or trademark cartoon character. Halloween should be about horror! This year I'm going to every homegrown haunted house, every site of local urban legend ( check out shadowlands.com for places near you), every cemetary I can climb the fence of!
